The torrential rains that have fallen over Australia in recent days have caused considerable damage to the country, but presented a stunning spectacle on the site of Uluru, a sacred place for the Aborigines.

Uluru Rock in central Australia has become covered in water after rains that have caused terrible flooding in the country in recent days. Several inches of rain fell over the weekend and “The showers created waterfalls on the giant rock”, sacred site for the Aborigines and tourist attraction registered on the Unesco World Heritage List.
