A mysterious push message has confused many Samsung users. A message with the number 1 popped up. Samsung calms down: It was an accident.
“Was I hacked?” This question flooded unsettled Samsung users Forums, The in-house remote security app “Find my Mobile” sent a message that twice showed the number 1 above one another. If you tapped the push message, it disappeared again.
According to Samsung, the message is only an internal test and has no effect on the cell phone. “Find my Mobile” is the location service from Samsung, which can be used to track down a lost cell phone.
This notification was confirmed as a message sent unintentionally during internal testing and there is no effect on your device. Samsung apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused to our customers and will work to prevent similar cases from occurring in the future. ^ CC
