  • Last weekend the seventh and final day of the J80 Insular League 2022 took place, whose last four regattas would mean the closure of a competition organized by CD Código Cero, as established by the skippers of said class, with which an attempt was made to relaunch a mode that became leader in the island.

S 22 total races With what the league has organized, the number of participants has been decreasing, with a maximum of fifteen boats entered, but not so in the quality of the competition. The last four regattas bear witness to this, where the weak force of the wind did not prevent us from enjoying a new spectacle both at sea and on land.

This last matchday brought together six teams who fought for every qualifying position. In the first episode, Nutsalud by Miguel Naverán presaged their dominance, ahead of Alonso Perez’s Code Zero 1 and Rafael Barbadillo’s Rotini, in second and third respectively. Simona Manfredini and her Code Zero Womens Team, Alejandro Vidal and the Code Zero 3 and Javier Suárez with the Code Zero 2, closed in order the ranking which had few changes in the second sleeve, where only Barbadillo swapped places and Perez.

Naverán had to settle for second place in the third run. First place was occupied by Rotini, while third was Alfonso Pérez’s Código Cero 1, followed by Vidal, Suárez and Manfredini.
