The film world has been hit hard by COVID-19. All major film projects came to a halt and the cinemas also remained closed for months. Still says Quentin Tarantino Now that it has been going bad with the cinemas for a long time.
During a recent podcast, the world-renowned director commented on it: ”To be fair, some cinemas deserve this too and that they close their doors for good. They took all the magic out of the movies”.
Criticism
However, it doesn’t stop there. This is how Tarantino, known from Pulp Fiction on Once Upon a Time ln Hollywood, further: ”They have been working on the inscription for their own tombstone for some time now. I think it’s unbelievable”.
”Just looking at my own career, it strikes me that every five years the movie experience for moviegoers diminishes. All I hope is that small cinemas and arthouse cinemas use the current situation to break through”.

Tarantino is only making one more movie. For example, we have seen several articles on FilmTotaal lately, about a possible derde Kill Bill film of a remake of First Blood. After that, the director thinks it’s been nice and he’s going to focus on other things.
