Queen Elizabeth of England tests positive for covid

Buckingham Palace has just announced that Queen Elisabeth has contracted covid. The 95-year-old monarch has tested positive and is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” but she hopes to continue light duty this week.

The queen is being treated medically following the corresponding instructions, and taking the necessary precautions.

The monarch has contracted the coronavirus after her son Carlos and her daughter-in-law Camila tested positive in early February

A few days ago, at the beginning of February, his son Prince Charles also had the disease for the second time. Also his daughter-in-law Camila, Duchess of Cornwall, contracted the coronavirus. The monarch, who was in contact with her son, has been under surveillance for a few days.

Isabel II resumed her official activities five days ago, among others, with a virtual audience in which the Spanish ambassador to the United Kingdom, José Pascual Marco, presented his credentials to the monarch.

The ambassador went to Buckingham Palace, where he held the audience at a distance with the sovereign, who remains at his residence in Windsor Castle (about 40 kilometers west of London), where he has spent much of the coronavirus pandemic.
