The government of Quebec will henceforth publish the number of COVID-19 patients treated in each hospital center in the province.

This was announced by the Minister of Health, Christian Dubé, on Twitter on Wednesday.
This is a request made by the Parti Québécois spokesperson for health, Joël Arseneau, last week.
According to the member for Îles-de-la-Madeleine, easy access to this data would not only allow citizens to identify establishments to avoid, but also to raise public awareness of the evolution of the situation in the regions.
“The table below shows active hospitalizations. These are presented in order to judge the burden on health services, ”says one in the table published on the website of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
It includes, among other things, the number of patients housed outside and in the intensive care units of each hospital center in addition to a comparison of this number over seven days and compared to the peak of the first wave last spring.
With the exception of hospitals located in Montreal, we see that in general more patients are currently being treated for COVID-19 in regional hospitals than during the first wave.
