Quebec records 76 more COVID-19 deaths

COVID-19 killed 76 more people in the province, announced the Quebec government. The death toll is now 4439.

The number of confirmed cases increased to 50,651, an increase from 419. There are 1,197 people hospitalized due to the coronavirus, up from 1,265 on Friday. Among them, there were 167 intensive care patients on Saturday, a decrease of 5.

It is once again in the greater Montreal region that the majority of deaths have been recorded, with 50 deaths on the island and 13 in Laval.

The number of confirmed cases jumped in Montérégie, going from 6780 to 6835 in 24 hours. In Montreal, the increase in the number of confirmed cases was 184.
