Also suffering from achondroplasia, the comedian Brad Williams launched a kitty online to pay Quaden’s family a trip to Disneyland, in the USA. The actor explains: “The funds raised will be used to purchase two plane tickets for Quaden and his mother from Australia to Los Angeles. It will also be used to pick up the hotel, food and tickets to Anaheim Disneyland Park. Once the flights, hotel, tickets and food have been paid for, any excess will go to charities against bullying.“Created on February 20, 2020, the prize pool rose in just three days to more than $ 463,000.
Following this media excitement, some skeptics have argued that this video was fake or that Quaden was actually an actor who simulated his sentence and that he was much older than he was asserted on the video. His mother denied these false rumors by relaying the publication of Mariana Lopez Ortiz, which confirms the age of her son and explains that he has known the boy with achodronplasia for a long time.
