QBittorrent for Windows is no longer available for 32-bit systems – Informatica – News

But then the question is always, how long do you go back? You’re talking laptops that are 15-20 years old, after which every CPU will support 64-bit Windows.

Coincidentally, I just got an Asus EEE PC 901 on my desk. It came out in 2008, so it’s almost 15 years old. Intel Atom N270 single-core 32-bit CPU, 2GB memory, originally came with Windows XP. Windows Vista, 7 and successors don’t work well on this for obvious reasons.

ArcoLinux 32 going big. Perfect laptop for hardware debugging thanks to its compact size. I wouldn’t use it as a server, because it’s not cheap enough for that. Then I would rather opt for a Raspberry Pi 4B, which also has better I/O (Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0).

I can understand people being less eager to continue supporting win32 software when win64 is compiled. If you’re still dependent on 32-bit Windows, it’s probably time to move on to something else (which you can in most cases).
