Doha: Qatar selected the World Cup as the best World Cup of the 21st century. Qatar’s World Cup came first in a survey conducted by the BBC of football fans from around the world.
In the best World Cup poll of the century, 78% of respondents voted in favor of Qatar. On the list were the World Cups from 2002 to 2022. Second place was the 2002 World Cup held in Asia.
The World Cup hosted jointly by Japan and Korea garnered 6% of the vote, while the 2014 World Cup in Brazil came in third. The last time the World Cup in Russia received the lowest rating. The poll was organized by BBC News.
