PVDA chairman Raoul Hedebouw denounces the expansion of flexi-jobs. “What started out as an exception,” he says. “Despite the promise of several government parties to abolish it, flexi-jobs are being expanded to twelve new sectors. In other words, people are allowed to work their butts off in flexible jobs to make ends meet.”
According to him, there is also no question of a fair contribution from the largest assets. “There has been no shortage of balloons to get the very rich and the major banks to contribute in recent days. But when push comes to shove, the broadest shoulders are the ones to escape.”
