Price of Pertalite and Pertamax today, Tuesday (21/6/2022) there has been no change. Specifically for Pertalite, the government is still holding back the price of Pertamina’s fuel by subsidizing it from the APBN.
However, after the increase Pertamax price on April 1, many vehicles ‘moved’ to Pertalite. For that, the government will regulate sales Pertalite type fuel like a ban on luxury cars.
One of the reasons the government regulates the purchase of Pertalite is because its consumption is expected to swell. If that happens, the compensation to be paid by the government will be even greater.
“If this is not braked, it is certainly very large (compensation). It is not necessarily used for productive things. For commercial vehicles, yellow plates, is it an option to give permission to use Pertalite,” said BPH Migas Committee Member Saleh Abdurrahman to detik.com .
Until now, it has not been officially determined what types of vehicles will be prohibited from buying Pertalite. What is certain is the type of vehicle that is classified as luxury.
“Are black plate cars allowed, but not luxury ones. What are the criteria for luxury, whether following the Ministry of Finance, VAT on luxury goods, is our study,” he continued.

Pertamax Price in all Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) varies depending on the region. Whereas for Pertalite price at all gas stations in Indonesia is the same at IDR 7,650/liter.
