KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) Tbk will carry out a trial purchase of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) for the type of Pertalite and diesel using the application MyPertamina starting today, Friday (1/7/2022).
Trials purchase of pertalite using MyPertamina aims to limit the consumption of subsidized fuel which is considered to be still not on target.
President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution said that so far subsidized Pertalite and Solar are still consumed by people who should not have the right to use subsidized fuel.
“In distributing subsidized fuel, there are rules, both in terms of quotas or quantities as well as in terms of user segmentation. Currently, the subsidized Solar user segment has been regulated, while Pertalite’s user segmentation is still too broad, he said, quoted from the website. Pertamina.
However, for now, the trial implementation of subsidized fuel purchases is only applied to certain types of vehicles in certain areas.
In this trial process, Pertamina will serve the purchase of pertalite and diesel for vehicles that have been registered in the MyPertamina system.

So, what types of vehicles are required to use the My Pertamina application?
Types of vehicles that must use MyPertamina
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Irto Ginting explained that MyPertamina registration for subsidized fuel purchases starting July 1, 2022 only applies to 4-wheeled vehicles and above.
This means that motorbikes can still buy pertalite as usual, without the MyPertamina application.

Meanwhile, the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) is currently still conducting a study on the planned restrictions Pertalite purchase.
One of the things that gets special attention in the study is the types of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles that will be limited in their purchases.
Reported from Happy, BPH Migas Committee member Saleh Abdurrahman said the study was conducted on 4-wheeled vehicles over 2,000 cc.
“Meanwhile, the results of the study are like that (for vehicles above 2,000 cc),” said Saleg.
As for two-wheeled vehicles, the study was conducted for motorcycles above 250 cc.

In this first trial phase, the implementation of purchasing subsidized fuel using MyPertamina will be carried out in 11 regions spread across 5 provinces in Indonesia, including:
- Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra
- Regency. Agam, West Sumatra
- Padang Panjang City, West Sumatra
- Regency. Tanah Datar, West Sumatra
- Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan
- Bandung City, West Java
- Tasikmalaya City. West Java
- Regency. Ciamis, West Java
- Manado City, North Sulawesi
- Kota Yogyakarta, DIY
- Sukabumi City, West Java.

The eleven areas were selected by Pertamina by considering a number of certain aspects, such as the characteristics of the location close to mining or industrial areas, and the readiness of infrastructure.
With this trial, people who own 4-wheeled vehicles in these 11 areas must ensure that their data is registered with MyPertamina as consumers who are entitled to purchase subsidized fuel.
Meanwhile, people living outside the 11 regions can still purchase Pertalite and Solar as usual, without having to register with MyPertamina.

How to register on MyPertamina

According to Alfian Nasution, people who are declared entitled to buy Pertalite and Solar can register themselves through the MyPertamina application.
Registration is open from July 1, 2022.
“People who feel they have the right to use Pertalite and Solar can register their data through the website, then wait to see if their vehicle and identity are confirmed as registered users,” he explained, quoted from Kompas.comTuesday (28/6/2022).

Here’s how to register at MyPertamina:
- Prepare a number of documents such as ID cards, vehicle registration, photos of vehicles, email addresses, and other documents as support.
- Visit site https://subsiditepat.mypertamina.id/
- Check the information understand the requirements, click ‘Register Now’.
- Register yourself and the vehicle used.
- The data entered will be matched and verified, whether they are included in the group entitled to subsidized fuel prices or not.
- Confirmed registration will receive notification via registered email.
- Next, they will receive a special QR code indicating that their data has been matched. This means that you can buy subsidized Pertalite and Solar at gas stations.
This process will take a maximum of 7 days.
As for people who have registered but have not yet received a QR Code, it is certain that they can still buy subsidized fuel as usual.
