The third edition of PKP DWNTWN is cut down due to the bad weather forecast. The performances and sports activities scheduled for Sunday are cancelled. And the Saturday programming moves indoors. The organization of Pukkelpop and the City of Hasselt organize the city festival, two weeks before the actual festival in Kiewit.
“Unfortunately, the weather forecasts are not what they should be,” says Frederik Luyten of Pukkelpop. “On Sunday we had a very sporty program with 3×3 basket, skateboarding and bouldering. These are all activities that are difficult to combine with rainy weather. You cannot guarantee the same atmosphere. Finding alternatives was also impossible in such a short period of time. Then read better. The safety and comfort of both visitors and artists comes first.”
