Michele Emiliano, with a video message published on Facebook, gave the news of the arrival of the bonus for the wedding parties. It was announced during the lockdown during meetings with wedding industry operators and citizens. The bonus is 1,500 euros in favor of companies in the wedding supply chain that can request it, at the request of the spouses, for wedding parties organized in the period from 1 July to 31 December 2020 and therefore has retroactive value.
“The measure – explains Emiliano – is called Puglia Wedding Travel Industry and aims to support the wedding industry chain so that married couples who have chosen to celebrate their wedding in the months following the lockdown phase are encouraged to keep the their purpose, confirming the wedding parties. The wedding represents a reference market for Puglia, but it has been severely hit by the pandemic in its entire supply chain, from tailors to florists, photographers, through to fitters, catering and wedding planners. this program, the Puglia Region together with Pugliapromento intends to give concrete encouragement to the sector, obviously always in compliance with all the measures envisaged to avoid contagions and the spread of the virus “.
