Producer Sergei Lavrov told why Alla Pugacheva did not want to work on the same shows with Valeria. The prima donna, whose opinion always mattered to the organizers, allegedly directly said that a choice had to be made between them, Channel Five reports.
According to Lavrov, this situation was due to the fact that Alla Borisovna was almost furious with the popularity that Valeria managed to win; she filled the halls once or twice.
“Pugacheva felt competition for herself and her daughter, because Valeria was collecting sports palaces at that time,” Lavrov told Channel Five.
Earlier, guitarist Levshin told how Pugacheva almost died after a concert in Chernobyl.
