The Ministry of Health received personal protective equipment (PPE) from the French embassy to combat COVID-19 in Suriname on Monday, October 18. The gesture includes 1,000,000 washable masks, 250 machine filters, 250 antibacterial filters and 20,000 antigen tests.
The embassy was represented by the outgoing French ambassador, Antoine Joly. Minister Amar Ramadhin is very grateful to the French government for this gesture.
Both the minister and the French ambassador applaud the mutual cooperation to combat the fight against COVID-19.
