Speaker of the House Mrs. Maharani leaked the criteria for the presidential candidate that PDIP will carry in 2024. Political observer from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Adi Prayitno said that actually the two names according to the leaked criteria from Puan were believed to be competing for the blessing of Ketum Megawati Soekarnoputri as presidential candidates in 2024.
“There are certainly many who can fulfill these criteria in PDIP. Of course, all PDIP cadres are bloody builders of PDIP and really love Sukarno. But if it is narrowed down again, it will be none other than Puan and Ganjar,” said Adi to reporters, Wednesday (2/2) 3/2022).
“Both of them have met the requirements to become presidential candidates. It’s just Megawati who wants to choose who will be promoted to become a presidential candidate. What is clear, PDIP is lucky to have a surplus of cadres that can be carried forward for the presidential election,” he continued.
Ganjar Pranowo is the Governor of Central Java. Meanwhile, Puan is the Speaker of the DPR as well as Megawati’s biological daughter.
However, Adi assessed that the leaked criteria referred to by Puan tended to be himself. He said that Puan was considered a cadre with a very high level of PDIP.
“Even if it is extorted again, it tends to be more specific towards Puan. Because Puan is considered a cadre with a PDIP level of 1000 carats. It is often called Ganjar’s victory as governor in Central Java because of Puan’s bloody struggle at that time who became team leader winning,” he said.
Paramadina University Political Observer Hendri Satrio said the characteristics that Puan disclosed were still too general. He said it could be Puan, Ganjar or other cadres.
“If the criteria are bloody, both Puan and Ganjar are bloody, but there are also other candidates that Mba Puan may be reluctant to mention,” he said.
He couldn’t guess who Puan meant. He believes that all cadres will claim that they are struggling to build the party.
“What is clear is that if the criteria are still general and actually do not lead to anyone, whoever the PDIP cadres are, they will certainly claim that they will fight for blood, so Mba Puan has not,” he said.
