Bernardo praised the fighting spirit of his team that fought until the end and succeeded come back in the second half. He will now focus on restoring his children’s strength to face the next game.
“Today the players fought until the end and brought a lot of energy to this game. It is our mission now revival to bring ourselves back,” he said.
He also hopes that the healing process will proceed quickly. Bernardo emphasized that PSM Makassar must survive as League 1 champions 2022/2023.
“We prepare ourselves for the next match and we have to respect the symbol on our chest to give our best until the end,” said Bernardo.
Meanwhile, PSM player Yakob Sayuri thanked the supporters who came to give encouragement directly at the stadium. He understood that the supporters were disappointed after PSM Makassar performed well in several home games.
“I thank all the supporters who still take the time to come and support us at the stadium even though we haven’t had good results in the last few games,” he explained.
Before the match against PSIS Semarang, PSM Makassar was in danger of relegation after being unable to compete in the middle and bottom of the standings. PSM was in 12th position by collecting 38 points.
It is known that he got three points after crushing PSIS in the home game. PSIS took the lead in the first half through Tri Setiawan’s goal. However, in the second half, PSM managed to turn things around with a goal from Kenzo Nambu and two goals from Yakob Sayuri in the second half.
