Paris Saint-Germain are not in talks with Kylian Mbappé over a new contract, but will not hand him over to Real Madrid without a fight.
Mbappé’s future remains unknown to all but himself at present, with Real Madrid having at least publicly denied discussions with him. Currently, things are quiet for Mbappe. In less than six weeks he will be free to discuss his future, but PSG are entirely focused on football at the moment, as is Mbappe, and they intend to leave him that way until 2024.
According to Relevo, PSG is considering two paths, one with Mbappé and the other without. He is in the process of negotiating a new contract for young star Warren Zaire-Emery and knows roughly what he intends to offer him in terms of a new contract. In the first months of 2024, they will do everything in their power to convince him to extend his contract.
Many assume that although reports indicate that Mbappé will have to offer himself to the Blancos, it is more likely that he will move to Madrid next summer rather than staying in Paris. However, few Spaniards consider this a done deal, given what happened last time.
