Paris Saint-Germain has to settle many cases this summer and Leonardo has work to do. There is the option to buy Mauro Icardi to exercise and other cases on which to rule.

Coming back to Thiago Silva, the 35-year-old defender may well win. He has campaigned in recent months for an extension of his adventure at PSG, chaining media outings to express his love for Paris. At first reluctant and eager to turn the page, Leonardo changed his tune, in particular because of the economic crisis which follows from the epidemic of coronavirus. As we had revealed to you, discussions had thus started between the Parisian management and the Brazilian defender.
Draxler invited to leave but …
According to our information, negotiations are well advanced and Thiago Silva would have agreed with Leonardo on the contours of an extension of one year + one year optional. It now remains to open the delicate subject of salary remuneration, while the captain of PSG received € 14 million for the 2019-2020 season, a rate that will necessarily have to be revised downwards. Another file to manage for Leonardo, that of Julian Draxler. The German has clearly lost his place this season, with involvement deemed to be declining by the Parisian staff.
However, he always made it clear that he felt good in Paris. Last winter, he refused a departure for AC Milan, who had obviously agreed with PSG. Invited to leave the club of the capital, he would clearly prefer to stay and go after his contract, which expires next June. For his part, the 26-year-old German agent offered it to RB Leipzig according to our information. The German club is not particularly excited. The Ile-de-France club is likely to have trouble finding a way out for its player recruited in Wolfsburg for almost € 40 million in January 2017.
