In recent months, Sony and Microsoft have systematically informed about the deliveries of new copies of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. The situation is interesting, however, because PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are also starting to be missing in the first places.
There have been serious problems with the availability of previous-gen platforms in the US – Amazon, Target, Walmart, and even GameStop are vying for free PS4 and XOne arts.
Some points even decided to buy devices from the competition and then sell them with a large copy – this is the situation that players have seen in the case of, among others, PlayStation 4 Slim (1TB). The equipment was initially available for $ 300 and then went to Walmart for $ 450.
Kotaku editors even received a message from their sources, according to which GameStop is dealing with the problem of DualShock 4 availability. Of course, free pieces are sold at a more expensive price. There are reportedly even fake offers in which sellers offer unofficial pads as the original ones.
The situation looks a bit better in the case of the Xbox One, because although the controllers from the previous generation are difficult to access, players can use devices prepared for the Xbox Series X | S.
As you know, Sony and Microsoft are now focusing on developing new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S pieces, so in the coming months the problem with access to PS4 and XOne may increase.
