PS3 streamlined. Sony has released a new firmware

Sony has not forgotten about PlayStation 3 and has released a new update for the older platform. The device has not received great news, but before starting the online game it will be necessary to download the firmware.

In recent weeks, the Japanese corporation has twice attempted to publish an update to PlayStation 5 – Before the premiere, the first patch was found on the servers, while next new files were waiting for download at the end of November. The device needs at least a few more news and fixes, so we can expect more data sets in the coming weeks.

Interestingly, Sony also did not miss PlayStation 3 and focused on improving the older device. Today an update marked 4.87 was released, which does not introduce innovative features, but deals with the classic “system performance improvement”.

We can suspect that thanks to the latest patch, the developers have taken care of removing security holes, thanks to which players could run non-original games on the console. It is widely known that similar practices are used for all consoles under the PlayStation banner.

Are you still on PS3? 😉
