According to information from Lyon Capital et RMC Info, the agreement currently being validated between the Socialist Party (PS) and La France insoumise (LFI) would be largely in favor of the latter party in the Rhône. The draft agreement provides that the PS presents itself in the 5th and 10th constituencies of the department, considered difficult.
Conversely, the 6th constituency, which includes Villeurbanne, should be represented by Gabriel Amard for LFI. This designation on a more favorable ground was particularly sensitive, the son-in-law of Jean-Luc Mélenchon having only few local ties.
This agreement must be validated by the authorities of the PS on May 5th.
