June 28, 2020 – Hakim Ziyech is proud to say goodbye to Ajax. The club waved Ziyech goodbye yesterday (Saturday) during his last working day in Amsterdam service. “I am proud to have been able to wear the shirt of the best club in the Netherlands,” said Ziyech, who is leaving for Chelsea.
“The past four years have been amazing. I don’t know where to start to describe this adventure, ‘Ziyech writes on Instagram. “The final of the Europa League, the semifinal of the Champions League, the victory of the Johan Cruijff Scale, the KNVB cup and the league title and being elected Player of the Year say enough about how beautiful these years have been.”
Ziyech is grateful for what Ajax has meant to him. ‘I want to thank everyone at Ajax for making my next step possible. All of you have been significant in my development. I hope you are proud of that. I am proud to have been able to wear the shirt of the best club in the Netherlands. ‘
