Care and Health also insists on being informed of the evolution of the workforce, so that the continuity of care can be ensured. Finally, the group must regularly inform the agency “about strategic decisions that may have a further impact on the operation of residential care centers and assisted living apartments in Flanders.”
Orpea says it respects those measures. “We share the concerns, which are completely legitimate,” said spokeswoman Marijke Verboven.
