Since the beginning of last month, prostitutes have been allowed to receive customers again. A protocol has been drawn up and approved by Minister of Self-Employed Denis Ducarme (MR), but not all sex workers themselves are enthusiastic. “It is definitely not safe yet,” says Hot Marijke. “The protocol is not always followed by my colleagues. I therefore advocate a total ban until there is a vaccine.”
“I went to the State Council to appeal the decision of the National Security Council,” said Hot Marijke. “The Security Council has not listened to the advice of the experts. I want to change that.”
