The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) obtained sentences of up to 34 years in prison against 38 gang members of the MS13, from the Wester Locos Salvatruchos clique.
The convicted gang members committed 14 homicides and several other crimes, of which the crimes attributed to this structure occurred between 2008 and 2018.
According to investigations, one of the murder cases is that of a young man, whose life was taken by mistake while playing on a basketball court in the Central Park of San Rafael Oriente.
Also, another of the cases for which they were convicted is the deprivation of liberty of a victim in 2017, whose remains were found in 2018, in a field in the La Golondrina hamlet, in the El Calvario neighborhood, San Rafael Oriente.
