Promotion of musically gifted children | Business & Science 2021 | News | Hannover.de | Press & Media | Service | Hannover.de | Home

Until January 31, children from eight to eleven years of age can apply for the pre-class of the institute for the early promotion of musically gifted people at the University of Music, Theater and Media. The course starts on April 1st.

The preliminary class of the Institute for the Early Promotion of the Musically Gifted (IFF) at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH) starts on April 1st with a new group. Musically gifted children between the ages of eight and eleven who are no longer beginners on their instrument can apply until January 31st.

Six semesters

The free preparatory course at VIFF is set up for six semesters, and the timetable includes group lessons in the subjects of music theory and rhythmic education, which are given on Saturdays, depending on the school hours in Lower Saxony.

Entrance exams

The entrance exams are scheduled for February 28, 2021 – subject to the then applicable regulations to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
