“The owner is third generation” Koo Bon-gyu promoted to president

LS Group held a board meeting on the 22nd and announced that it has made regular executive personnel appointments for the next year with the content of promoting a total of 27 people, including two promoted to vice president. This is the first executive appointment since the inauguration of President Koo Ja-eun, who took the helm of the group for the first time this year. Roh-hyun Myung and Seok-koo Do, promoted to vice presidents, have one thing in common: “financial literacy”. Chairman Myeong served as CFO at LS Cable & System and Chairman Doh served as CFO at LS Holdings Co., Ltd., respectively. This is said to be the backdrop for stable performance even in crises such as supply chain instability and rising commodity prices. Chairman Myung joined LS Cable & System in 1987 and Chairman Doh started his career in 1986 when he joined LG Distribution, now GS Retail.
LS Cable & System Vice President Koo Bon-gyu and E1 Executive Director Koo Dong-hwi, third generation manager of LS owning family, were promoted to President and Vice President respectively (LS Electric). In addition, Vice President Ahn Won-hyung of LS Co., Ltd. was promoted to President and assumed the position of Head of Management Support Headquarters to strengthen ESG management at the group level.
