Cocaine makes you sharp and focused. Ecstasy causes a feeling of euphoria and hallucinations, which is why the drug is so popular in the nightlife. But what do these and other narcotics do to our bodies? What are the short and long term effects and where are the biggest risks? We consulted the toxicologist Jan Tytgat (KU Leuven).
