Production of the new Kia Sorento launched in Russia – Motor

The characteristics of the crossover for the Russian market are already known. In the OTTS, issued in mid-August, a 2.5-liter MPI gasoline engine was announced for the model, which produces 180 horsepower and 232 Nm of torque, as well as a 2.2 CRDi diesel with a capacity of 199 horsepower (440 Nm). The first is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the second – with a new eight-speed “robot” with two wet clutches. Drive – front or full. Sorento can be bought in Russia in both five- and seven-seater versions.
