Twitter is initially testing the Product Drops feature in the United States.
Twitter is launching a test run for a new shopping format. The function enables customers to have Twitter remind them of upcoming product drops, i.e. the launch of new products. Retailers, in turn, can address their followers and target groups directly with the new format and integrate them into campaigns.
As soon as a retailer announces an upcoming product launch on Twitter, a reminder function is displayed at the bottom of the tweet
