While Mont-de-Marsan, Oyonnax and Bayonne all won, Colomiers lost during his trip to Agen and saw the leading trio stand out a little more.

Mont-de-Marsan takes his lead in Pro D2 to six points. The Montois took advantage of the reception of Provence Rugby to get a fifth victory in a row and with the offensive bonus as a bonus. While Simon Renda, Romain Durand and Nacani Wakaya scored the first three tries at Stade Montois, the achievement of Léo Drouet just before the break blocked this fifth point. However, on the last action of the meeting, Yoann Laousse Azpiazu was able to deceive the Provencal defense to bring this gap of three tries so important. With this clear success (32-13), Mont-de-Marsan distances Oyonnax a little further. Indeed, the Haut-Bugey players were only able to take four points during the reception of Aurillac. However, if Christa Sailisa Powell scored the first try of the meeting, Ilan El Khattabi twice then Aurélien Callandret and Kévin Lebreton put the USO in a position to take the five points of an improved victory. Corn the Aurillac team gave everything at the end of the match to score a second try and deprive the Oyomen of the extra point despite the victory (32-15).

Colomiers left behind by the top three

Bayonne, for its part, did not miss its trip to Bourg-en-Bresse but the tests arrived too late to hope for the offensive bonus.. Indeed, the first act amounted to four penalties from Gaëtan Germain. Just after the break, Sebastian Andres Poet unlocked the Bressans counter, but without going any further. Jean Monribot then Afa Amosa shortly after the hour mark scored the first two Basque tries. Despite their efforts, Rowing players have to be content. Their easy victory (3-24), however, allows them to consolidate their third place nine points from Mont-de-Marsan. Indeed, Colomiers signed a second loss in a row during his trip to Agen. If Thomas Vincent opened the scoring for the SUA on a penalty, a try from Waël Ponpon then a penalty from Romuald Séguy allowed Colomiers to turn in the lead at half-time. However, only the Agenais scored in the second period. First of all, Kolinio Ramoka broke through the columérine defense before Zak Farrance no longer clearly gave Agen the advantage. A final penalty from Paul Graou allows the SUA to sign its third victory of the season (18-8) and to widen the gap on the red zone.

Montauban misses the mark

Montauban could have taken the opportunity to pass Colomiers. But the USM did not manage to take the best from Grenoble. The first period saw the scorers stand out with three successes from Jérôme Bosviel for Montauban against four for Thomas Fortunel then Corentin Glénat. The start of the second act saw Kévin Firmin give a more substantial advantage to the Montalbanais but, after an exchange of courtesies between scorers, Corentin Glénat went there with his try seven minutes from the end of the match to allow Grenoble to leave with the draw (25-25). Montauban therefore remains one point behind Colomiers when the FCG remains stuck in the second half of the standings. Narbonne could not do better than a draw during his trip to Vannes. If Martin Vaca opened the scoring for the RCN on a try, a penalty from Christopher Hilsenbeck then a try from Matthys Gratien allowed the RCV to get back in front… before Lucas Méret put the two teams back on equal footing at the break. The second period saw the two teams neutralize each other for a long time, but the yellow card received by Théo Mias changed the situation. In the process, Quentin Etienne thought he had given the victory to Vannes but, beyond the siren, Joris Pialot did not tremble to allow Narbonne to bring back two points from Brittany (13-13) and come back a length of Bourg-en-Bresse.
