Road accident
Quebec’s public automobile insurance plan provides financial compensation for various private health care services that you may receive following a traffic accident, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dentistry or other treatments.
If you have been the victim of a road accident, here are the private health care services for which you could ask us for financial compensation.
Other health care
The plan does not reimburse medical consultations, radiological examinations and surgeries, since they are already covered by the Quebec public health insurance plan.
Each year, the SAAQ pays the Province’s Consolidated Fund an amount representing the annual cost of services rendered to road accident victims.
