In January came the sad news that Lisa Marie Presley had died, She was 54 years old. Lisa Marie was the only child of the rock king Elvis Presley, whom he had with his then wife Priscilla Presley (73).
Barely a week after the funeral, the argument about Lisa Marie’s inheritance was underway, and the disagreement about the inheritance has especially led to a big rift between Priscilla and her granddaughter Riley Keough (33). It reports ET.

Priscilla is said to have filed legal documents asking a judge to set aside an addendum to the will governing Elvis’ inheritance.
In the 2010 set-up of the will, Priscilla was named executor along with former partner Barry Siegel, but according to TMZ, Priscilla has discovered a 2016 addition, which removes both her and Siegel as executors, and puts in Lisa Marie’s children Riley and Benjamin Keough.
TMZ: Would not revive her
In the submitted documents, Priscilla questions whether the addition could be a forgery. She claims the supplement was never delivered to her, and believes the date is suspicious.
In addition, she points out that her name is misspelled and believes that Lisa Marie’s signature differs from her usual one. The addendum must also not have been signed with witnesses present, as well not been registered.
A big problem
Lisa Marie was married four times, but in her first marriage to Danny Keough she had a daughter Riley and a son Benjamin.
The son died in 2020, meaning the addition will make eldest daughter Riley sole trustee. According to ET, Priscilla thinks this is a big problem.

– Riley and Priscilla are not communicating at this time, but have been in communication through lawyers, the source shares to ET.
Elvis Presley Enterprises managing partner Joel Weinshanker spoke on Riley’s behalf, saying, among other things:
– We have to think about what Lisa Marie would want and what is best for Elvis. She’s never had any doubt that it’s Riley. She has talked about it with her friends and there is a lot of written information to prove it. It was never a question, and anyone who thinks otherwise doesn’t care about Elvis, Lisa Marie, or Riley.

Priscilla claims that she is doing what feels right to her when it comes to her late daughter’s legacy, and that she has always been there for Elvis’ legacy, both when it comes to his family and fans.
