Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer broke protocol in front of Kensington Palace, London, and walked through the crowd on his way to unveil his sister’s statue.

Prince Charles’ late ex-wife’s favorite corner, the sunken garden at Kensington Palace, has been remodeled to house the monument.
It was erected on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of her birth. Due to the pandemic, the unveiling of the statue was in a narrow circle.
The sunken garden, as it is called in London, was established in 1908 on the initiative of King Edward VII.
Kensington Palace says it has been completely rebuilt to create a more intimate setting for the monument to the princess who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.
