Princess Charlene: – It takes time to address my problem

For three months, Princess Charlene (43) of Monaco has now lived in her home country of South Africa without her husband, Prince Albert (63), and children Gabriella and Jaques (6).

She initially went there to draw attention to the protection of rhinos, but at the end of May she was operated on for a serious ear-nose-throat infection – and therefore had to postpone the return journey.

Speculations about whether there were problems in the marriage quickly began to flourish, but these rumors beat Charlene back on earlier this month.

Will be until the end of October

Now the 43-year-old comes with a new update about the course of the disease where she reveals, among other things, that she has to undergo another operation.

– I was originally meant to be here for ten to twelve days, but unfortunately I had problems balancing my ears and so the doctors found out that I have a fairly serious sinusitis. It takes time to address my problem, she explained to host Mandy Wiener on South African radio on Friday, according to People.

– I can not force the healing forward, so therefore I am stranded in South Africa until the end of October, she added.

Despite the fact that the princess will soon undergo another operation and in addition have to settle for three new months in her home country, she is fine according to the conditions.

– I feel good, said Charlene, but at the same time admitted that it has been tough not to be with the family for several months.

– This is actually the longest period I have ever been away from Europe and my children.

– Just sitting and waiting

Earlier this month, she shared with her followers on Instagram that she talks to the kids via FaceTime almost every day.

In early June, Prince Albert and the twins also visited her, and they plan to visit her again after the operation is over, writes People. According to sources the site has spoken to, the family hopes to be in place in South Africa by the end of August, if the political situation allows it.

– Like I said, I’m really just sitting and waiting. I can not predict how the healing process will go. But yes, I am very sorry that I can not spend the summer with my children in Europe, Charlene shared in the radio interview, according to the website.

As mentioned, the princess’s long stay away from the family has resulted in rumors of marital problems with Prince Albert. This went hard on the 43-year-old.

– It has been a very difficult time for me. I miss my husband and my children very much. The most difficult thing, as the medical team said, was that I was not allowed to go home for our ten year wedding celebration, she said in an interview with Channel24, reproduced by Picturemagazine, in early July.

– Prince Albert is my rock, my strength and without his love and support I would not have gotten through these painful months, she continued.
