Prince William has reportedly settled a claim with News Group Newspapers over allegations of hacking, according to documents revealed in London’s High Court. The disclosure was made during a hearing involving Prince Harry, who, along with actor Hugh Grant, is suing News Group Newspapers over alleged unlawful information gathering at its titles. The publisher has asked for both claims to be thrown out, arguing they have been brought too late. Harry’s lawyers have said they are an attempt to go behind a “secret agreement” reached between the royal family and the company in 2012.
