Some insiders recently hinted at a remake of Prince of Persia 2008: Ubisoft updated the princeofpersia.com and princeofpersiagame.com domains in October. Previously, these domains redirected to the Ubisoft website homepage, but after the upgrade, these domains redirected to the Prince of Persia 2008 page on the Ubisoft website, which is interesting.
But that’s not all, because this weekend the official profile of Prince of Persia Twitter has posted illustrations from Prince of Persia 2008, and this has revived the rumors of the last few weeks, giving them new strength.
Is Ubisoft really developing a remake of the game? Hard to say, the French house seems to be in trouble with the remake of The Sands of Time by Prince of Persia, which has been postponed to a later date and does not yet have a launch window.
There has long been talk of a 2.5D Prince of Persia reboot inspired by Ori. Could this mysterious project be related to Prince of Persia 2008?
