Great excitement among the royals. Australian Simon Charles Dorante-Day (53) claims to be the son of Prince Charles (71) and Camilla (72). He already spoke about it publicly in 2016, now he wants evidence – and is dragging the case to court in Sydney. The fact is: Dorante-Day was born in England in 1966 and was adopted by a Day family at the age of 18 months. He later emigrated to Australia.
–
But why is he convinced that his rightful place is in Buckingham Palace? His grosi kept telling him that he was the son of the Royals. Dorante-Day shares reports on his story on his Facebook page, and on another profile he even calls himself “Prince Simon”. At birth, Charles and Camilla would have been just 17 and 18 years old. They are said to have met for the first time playing polo a few years later.
–
Now Dorante-Day wants to force a DNA test to prove its royal origins. “It’s the most explosive thing that has ever happened to the palace,” he says. And what does the royal family say? Unsurprisingly: “No comment.”
