The 44-year-old princess is still in the clinic outside Monaco to recover. “I hope she is back in the principality soon,” Albert told the Monaco-Matin newspaper.
The last official statement dates back a while. At the end of January, the palace reported that Charlène was recovering well from, among other things, the throat, nose and ear infection from which she was operated on several times last year. But that she would not be present on January 27 at the annual veneration of the holy Devota.
The princess returned to her family from South Africa in November. Charlène was forced to stay longer in her native country because of the operations. When she returned home, it turned out that she was overtired both mentally and physically, Albert said earlier.
