Primary Arhan Doesn’t Want To Hurry Up To Join Team Tokyo Verdy

Jakarta

Primary Arhan don’t want to rush into the main team Tokyo Verdy. He is currently still recovering and adjusting to the style of football in Japan.

Ex-player PSIS Semarang it has arrived in Japan since March 16 last. His arrival to the Land of Sakura was delayed long after it was announced that he had been recruited by Tokyo Verdy on February 16.

Meanwhile, Arhan has attended his first training with Tokyo Verdy since March 23. Even so, Arhan has not been involved by Tokyo Verdy in the last 2021 J2 League match when his team hosted Montedio Yamagata on March 26.

Arhan is also aware that he is not ready to be involved in the team in the near future. He is still adjusting and preparing physically to be ready to compete.

In addition, he is also faced with competition at left-back. There are already core players in that position, namely Ren Kato and Daiki Fukazawa who take turns playing in that position

“Yes, of course, I am physically behind compared to my friends who are already here. I just came and need to adjust to the weather, now it’s winter. I have to adapt quickly,” said Arhan in an interview with CNN Indonesia TV in the program Connected.

“Slowly I also started to follow the coach’s instructions regarding what Japanese football is like. I also need to recover myself, I joined for a while and then recovered,” he added.

“Regarding normal competition, it’s natural for football players to compete healthy. Playing or not depends on the coach,” he said again.

Adjusting to Japanese Culture

Not only technical matters, Arhan is also still adjusting from a non-technical perspective. For example, approach yourself with your teammates to get along.

In addition, he also had to follow the Japanese way of life. One of them is about maintaining cleanliness.

“If you are familiar with friends, you have joked together. But going out together is a bit difficult, because right now it’s still a COVID-19 pandemic, so it’s tougher,” said the former pillar of the U-19 Indonesia National Team.

“I went to Japan for the first time, the culture of cleanliness is a bit different. For example, there is a collection of bottle waste. Tuesday, Wednesday, it’s different again. That’s what I feel is different. It has never been done in Indonesia, only in Japan,” said Arhan.

“Of course I also want to be able to learn Japanese because communication is important. I also want to learn so that communication is smooth,” he said again.
