Preventing DHF, Padasuka Cimahi Residents Asked to Routinely Carry out PSN

CIMAHI – Case Dengue fever Dengue (DHF) in Cimahi City continues to increase, in Kelurahan Padasuka Cimahi DHF cases have reached 18 people, 5 of them died.

Therefore, residents of Padasuka Cimahi Village were asked to carry out Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) regularly as an effort to prevent the transmission of the dengue outbreak in Cimahi City.

“In total, we have 18 cases, 5 died. So we ask the public to routinely carry out PSN,” said the village head of Padasuka, Ajat Sudrajat, Friday (17/12).

Ajat explained, the increase in DBB cases is a concern for all parties, to be more vigilant.

What the community can do, Ajat said, is by not allowing mosquito larvae to breed.

Usually, mosquito larvae that transmit dengue fever grow in puddles of water. In this transitional season, puddles of water will usually be more visible, so that mosquito breeding will also occur more.

The village head of Padasuka Cimahi appealed to his residents not to allow standing water around his house which could cause mosquito larvae to grow.

“So, don’t let there be puddles of water that can be a place for mosquito larvae to grow. Don’t forget to clean in the refrigerator, even in the bath tub, because the potential is still there,” he said.
