Presidential election – live coverage – Presidential election 2020

The first round of presidential elections has ended. Andrzej Duda and Rafał Trzaskowski got into the second round.

11 candidates are running in the presidential election. These are (in alphabetical order): Robert Biedroń, Krzysztof Bosak, Andrzej Duda, Szymon Hołownia, Marek Jakubiak, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Mirosław Piotrowski, Paweł Tanajno, Rafał Trzaskowski, Waldemar Witkowski and Stanisław Żółtek.

In order for a vote to be cast in the presidential election, the voter must put a cross next to the name of only one candidate. Placing a cross next to the name of more than one candidate, or not placing a cross next to the name of any candidate will result in the vote being declared invalid.

In connection with the outbreak of the coronavirus, elections take place in a special sanitary regime – before entering the polling station, the nose and mouth should be covered (they are exposed only for a moment so that the committee members can identify the voter), 1.5 meters should be kept in the polling station from other people, and each person at the polling station must have a minimum of 4 square meters of space.
