A statement issued by the official campaign of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, a candidate in the 2024 presidential elections, said that in response to the call of Egyptians in the squares and streets throughout the republic, and to complement the democratic scene, Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi announced his candidacy for an upcoming presidential term.
He added, according to what was published on the official page: “A consensual vision will be prepared for the next stage entitled ‘We will complete the dream’, with the participation of all entities, entities, supporting parties and experts in various fields.”
He continued: “Mr. President hopes that the Egyptian people will provide the best examples and that the Egyptians will show the entire world the extent of their participation in the presidential elections.”
He added: “The campaign will be open to the participation of all Egyptians, and all details and procedures will be announced soon.”
