In the second half, Manchester United could have equalized from the penalty spot, following a handball from Nuno Tavares but the shooter, Bruno Fernandes, found the post (55th). Cristiano Ronaldo also thought to put his teammates back on the right track, the VAR prevented him for an offside position (60th).
And by dint of suffering, Arsenal still manages to take off in this meeting. Mohamed Elneny shifts Granit Xhaka who makes his striking power speak, without success for David De Gea (70th, 3-1).
A great victory for the players of Mikel Arteta who take 4th place in the championship and remain in the race for qualification in the Champions League which would be a first since the 2016-2017 season.
