For years, the clubs in England’s top division have benefited from insane income from TV money. The amounts will increase again in the future.
Because: On Monday evening, the league announced the agreement on a new television deal on social media.
From the 2025/26 season, the clubs will collect around 7.8 billion euros until the 2028/29 season. The value is therefore 1.95 billion euros per season. A new coal record!

For comparison: the DFL’s current TV deal currently brings the clubs in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga around 1.1 billion per season. Starting next year, the television rights in Germany will be put out to tender again.
