Pregnant Romee Strijd moves to make room for baby

Romee and husband Laurens will move next week. They want to live closer to their family. “My due date is December and we think it would be better to be closer to our family. That way we have some extra help and my mother is always around when I need her help,” she explains.

Another factor is that their apartment in Amsterdam is a bit on the small side. In their new apartment they have enough space for a baby room. “When we move next week, I will be 22 weeks pregnant and we will start furnishing our nursery.”

Although Romee would like to feel some steps from her baby in her stomach, that is not yet the case. She has an explanation for that. “Because my placenta is at the front, I may not feel anything until I am 27 weeks pregnant,” she explains.
