This implies that the company is already preparing to market the Huawei P50 series outside of China. The company plans to bring the Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pocket to Malaysia on Wednesday (11/01/2022).
It is believed to be the date of the introduction of the Huawei P50 Pro in the global market. Huawei Saudi Arabia opened an order for the Huawei P50 Pro where the customer had to deposit a down payment of 100 riyals or IDR 381 thousand.
Prospective consumers can choose the Huawei P50 Pro in two color variants, namely Golden Black and Cocao Gold. During the pre-order period, customers can get a series of bonuses such as Huawei Watch GT2 Pro, Smart View Flip case, Huawei Care VIP card, and Petal One subscription card.
Those who have submitted a down payment are also entitled to a raffle coupon to win the company’s newest foldable phone, the Huawei P50 Pocket.
It is still unknown regarding the actual price of the Huawei P50 Pro in Saudi Arabia. But rumors circulating claim the price starts at 4,200 riyals or Rp. 16 million.
For comparison, the Huawei P50 Pro is priced at 5,988 yuan or Rp. 13.4 million for the lowest memory variant (8GB/128GB) with the Snapdragon 888 chipset in China.

Huawei P50 Pro is flagship brand-new from Huawei with a 6.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1228 x 2700 pixels. Some of the screen specifications include a 120 Hz refresh rate, support for 1 billion colors, a density of 450 ppi and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2 percent.
The device has four rear cameras configured with 50 MP (wide) + 64 MP (periscope telephoto) + 13 MP (ultrawide) + 40 MP (B/W). For information, the Huawei P50 Pro still relies on lenses from Leica. The punch-hole on the Huawei P50 Pro screen is used as a selfie camera with a 13 MP sensor.
